The #4 Scottsdale women's soccer team thumped Chandler-Gilbert 8-0 tonight at SCC.

The win improves the Artichokes to 2-0 overall and 1-0 in the conference.

SCC led 4-0 at the half and would add four more in the second half. Sandra Lakic led the team with two goals and two assists. Ava Fike also had two goals. Kaylee Vasiloff posted a clean sheet with five saves on the night.

Scottsdale registered a whopping 54 shots, compared to 10 for the Coyotes.

SCC will have very little time to rest as the welcome Mesa on Tuesday, September 9 at 5:45 p.m.
