The Scottsdale men's basketball team defeated AZ Sol 83-62 in a matinee contest today at SCC.

The win improved the Artichokes to 3-1 overall.

SCC broke a 10-10 tie when McCade Peterson put back his own missed shot with just over 14 minutes to go in the half. SCC never trailed from that point and held its biggest lead of the half, 40-27, at the break.

The game was never in doubt as Scottsdale controlled the second half and led by as many as 23 late in the half.

Bryce Anderson led all Artichoke scorers with 19. Coleman Fields added 15.

Up next for the Artichokes is a visit from Arizona Western on Wednesday, November 12 at 5:30 p.m. The Matadors are 3-2 this season.
