Davis scores 27 to pace Women's Hoops

The #17 Scottsdale women's basketball team traveled on the road to Chandler-Gilbert and came away with a 71-63 win.

Scottsdale is now 13-6 overall and 7-3 in the ACCAC.

Mia Davis poured in 27 points on 10-for-14 shooting and had nine rebounds. Vanessa Sepulveda had 14 points.

SCC led 49-34 after three quarters before the Coyotes closed the gap in the fourth.

The Artichokes shot 46.3% from the floor and held the Coyotes to 28.8%. SCC dominated the glass with a 39-29 advantage, outscoring CG 34-14 with points in the paint.

Scottsdale will next travel to South Mountain to face the Cougars on Saturday, January 31. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m.
