The NJCAA #7 ranked Scottsdale Community College Men's Basketball team came up short when they went on the road to take on Chandler-Gilbert Community College. Scottsdale got off to a sloid start, leading at the half by the score of 41-36. CGCC would battle back and the score-line would stay even for most of the 2nd half. Scottsdale got down by 1 point with 4 seconds to go and could not convert a late game 3-point shot for the win. SCC would fall by the final score of 78-77. Scottsdale was led by Cameron Faas who finished with 16 points and 4 rebounds, while Tyree Tyler would go for 13 points and 10 rebounds. The Artichokes 15-game win streak was snapped and now are (21-5, 13-5) overall on the season. Scottsdale will go on the road to take on Central Arizona College on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
