The SCC Volleyball team faced an uphill battle in the ACCAC playoffs when they lost their first round match-up to Phoenix College. After sweeping Pima into elimination, the Lady Artichokes had to face PC again in an elimination match. The climb was too steep, as the Artichokes ended their season with a straight-sets loss to the Bears. The scores were 15-25, 19-25, 25-27.

Despite the loss it was another successful season for head coach Regina Mannix and the SCC Volleyball program. This season saw a twelve match winning streak, coach Mannix's 500th win at SCC and multiple players received player-of-the-week honors. The program was also recognized for their work in the classroom, received nationally recognition for team GPA.
