The Scottsdale Community College Volleyball team had one of their team members earn the first week of the season ACCAC Defensive Player of the Week. Brooklyn Casey is a sophomore from Peoria, AZ, and went to Liberty H.S. In three matches she had 44 digs and even added 30 kills. She also contributed five aces and three blocks. Casey and the rest of the Fighting Artichoke Volleyball team are back in action tonight against Barton Community College and tomorrow night against Mesa Community College. Both matches are to be played at SCC at 7:00 PM.
