Rath and Casey Earn Volleyball ACCAC Player of the Week Honors
The 12th ranked Scottsdale Community College Volleyball team had two of their team members earn ACCAC Player of the Week.
Division II Co-Offense – Shauna Rath – Scottsdale – The freshman from Peoria, AZ, and Sunrise Mountain H.S. had 18 kills, 27 digs and 27 assists as SCC won twice.
Division II Defense – Brooklyn Casey -Scottsdale - Had 35 digs in a pair of SCC wins. Also added five blocks and 17 kills. She is a freshman from Liberty H.S. in Peoria, AZ.
Scottsdale has a big week this week as they host Eastern Arizona college on Tuesday, host South Mountain Community College on Wednesday, and go on the road to take on Yavapai College on Friday. All matches are slated to begin at 7:00 PM.
